Irina Tosunyan is a journalist, jewelry designer, and an author of several books. She currently resides in California. Irina spent many years working in Moscow as a journalist for Literaturnaya Gazeta - a leading cultural and political newspaper of Russia.

Before moving to California, she lived in Japan where she learned the art of handcrafting traditional Japanese dolls in the “kimekome ningyo” style.

Her collection was highly admired and praised by the local craft masters and fans of traditional Japanese arts. Along with journalism and Japanese arts, Irina develops and creates her own line of jewelry. Jewelry making began as accidental love and grew into a personal passion for Irina.

Gemstones inspire and unlock the exciting possibilities of creating jewelry pieces that are well balanced in colors and forms, sensuous and carrying a unique “voice”, style and look.
